Green peas contain considerable amounts of group B vitamin. The mineral present in the highest amount is potassium (important to rebalance diuresis, especially in cardiopathic people), followed by phosphorous, magnesium, calcium, iron, selenium and zinc, the latter two being two powerful antioxidants. The fairly high protein content (26g per 100g) makes peas a good substitute of meat, especially if combined with carbohydrates. The innovative assisted germination technique used by Molino Quaglia gives rise to germinated seeds without any risks of pathogenic bacterial or fungal contaminations.
